Seasonal Changes
Winter - The sun sets early now, making the long nights a paradise for vampires and other creatures of the dark. Snowfall is common, and the temperatures are chilly, so make sure to bundle up before venturing outside!
Sunset: Sunset is around 4pm, so get all your errands done early, you dont want to be out in the dark.

Winter Festival Celebration- MONDAY
Hello all! If you thought you missed the party, worry not! There were sudden scheduling conflicts with many people that night, so we've decided to push it back.
Instead, we'll be hosting the Winter Festival on Monday, December 30th! Festivities will start between 7 and 7:30 pm EST, and we'll be offering out gifts to those who can make it. We'll also have voting on who can make the best Christmas/Yule/Winter character avatar, with gold prizes. Good luck, and we hope to see you then!

New Dragon Marshal
Congratulations to Mikael, who has been promoted to lead our air forces as the new Dragon Marshal!
This position requires strength, patience, and wisdom, and we are sure the realm will be even more safe under his watch.

New Chat Update
New chat is making progress! We have most of the systems and commands in, with a few new surprises. There are still a few arcs left to do (ie, Realm Mail, Transactions, and a few other features) that we're working on. ALL donations right now are going towards covering the server and programmer costs for development. Additionally, we have a new segment on the forums for newchat discussions and input =)

Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
The Phoenix staff would like to wish everyone a merry time during the holiday season! For any and all members who might be travelling, please travel safe, and enjoy the time spent with family and friends. We also want to wish everyone a Happy New Year, and that 2014 will bring more fun, excitement, and stories for everyone.
